Lifspel is a Storyplay Engine—an AI-powered interactive storytelling experience where you inhabit a protagonist and shape narratives through your choices. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Lifspel.
By using Lifspel, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. Using Lifspel
1.1 Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Lifspel. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms.
1.2 Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
1.3 Acceptable Use
You agree to use Lifspel only for lawful purposes. You will not:
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
- Use the service to generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates others' rights
- Attempt to circumvent any technical limitations or security measures
- Use automated systems to access the service without permission
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the service
2. Content and Ownership
2.1 Your Content
When you create scenarios or interact with stories, you retain ownership of your original creative contributions. However, you grant Lifspel a license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the service.
2.2 AI-Generated Content
Story content generated by our AI systems is created collaboratively between you and our AI. You may use AI-generated story content for personal, non-commercial purposes. See our Copyright page for details on content ownership.
2.3 System Scenarios
Scenarios provided by Lifspel ("System Scenarios") remain our intellectual property. You may play these scenarios but may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from them.
3. Privacy and Data
Your privacy matters to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using Lifspel, you consent to our data practices as described in that policy.
4. Service Availability
We strive to keep Lifspel available and functioning well, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We will try to provide notice of significant changes when practical.
5. Limitations of Liability
Lifspel is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
